Ian Michael Frost

The musical adventure began when Ian Michael Frost picked up a guitar aged eight. After personal tutelage from seasoned, master guitarist – Peter Sills; Ian ventured into the world of entertainment performing in many varied acts from across his home town of London and the home counties. Some of these early opportunities included Irish Folk music, Gospel, Soul, Pop and Rock bands.

In recent years Ian has been heard lending his guitar and vocal talents to Party Bands, Jazz Ensembles and performing solo gigs across the East of England. Other highlights have been: playing with the Suffolk Sinfonia Orchestra and utilising his arranging skills for charity shows comprising James Bond, ABBA and Beatles Music.

2016 has proved a very busy year! Ian successfully completed a six month tour, as show band guitarist, on the Carnival Pride Cruise ship based out of Baltimore, MD, USA. The ship sailed the east coast and took in many ports in the Bahamas. With a taste for travelling, Ian demonstrated his musical versatility jumping-ship to Princess Cruises and performing as featured soloist on both acoustic and electric guitars. With a voice that lends it’s self to many music genres and a passion to play many different styles of guitar – Ian loves the variety that these opportunities afford.

Next year, Ian will be sailing the West Coast to Hawaii on the Star Princess!”
